Established 1961, Wilmslow Wayfarers are one of the newest, up-and-coming cricket clubs in Cheshire.

The club is run entirely by dedicated and loyal volunteers, some of whom have been associated with the club for the entire 56 years.

Wayfarers are situated on Styal Road near the historic Quarry Bank Mill and play at the picturesque Oakwood Farm Oval. We are a family-friendly club aiming to be a central part of the local community.

On the pitch we run 2 adult teams on a Saturday, plus competitive and friendly teams on a Sunday and Wednesday and have a growing junior section, currently running teams at Under 9 and 11 age groups.  Our plan is to grow the junior section over the next 3 years, creating teams at Under 13 and 15 levels.

If you wish to play at a friendly family club or a club that is safe and fun for your children then Wayfarers is for you. Wayfarers have 2 senior sides that play on Saturdays and a Friendly XI that plays on Wednesday evenings. Nets are on Mondays for adults and juniors.

Indoor nets will be at Wilmslow High School every Sunday from 26th February (between 15.45 and 16.00).

All welcome!
